Cloudnet worked with AT&T to design, plan and implement Cisco WAN and Aruba Wireless technology networks and a Cisco Unified Communications solution, including AWS cloud, IP telephony, regional datacentre upgrades, global unified communications and telephony solutions to 23,000 personnel across the US, EMEA and APAC regions.

We introduced strategic changes to the programme plan through release management processes, enabling DDNS via infobloxand Alight SSID following testing, ahead of the global PC migration rollout.

University of Surrey

We created a plan and revised budget forecast for phase one of a datacentre move into an offsite location, as well as the estimation of options for a datacentre cloud solution, including the implementation of dual WAN links using Cisco technology. We led multiple teams of technical and non-technical staff, project managers, project support and 3rd party suppliers, and were responsible for planning migration, virtualisation, consolidation, & VM migration using VMware and VMware NSX.

During our time at the University of Surrey, we also consolidated, migrated and transitioned servers and applications into operation Steady State following release management processes.

Bristol City Council

Cloudnet began work with Bristol City Council by producing a feasibility study and options paper together with delivering the project business case. This included the cost of procuring a data centre solution and relocation of their primary centre to an offsite commercial facility, prior to the divestiture of the original site.

We were responsible for the migration, virtualisation, consolidation and VM migration using VMware vSphere 5.1, and the implementation of two 10 Gb and two 8 Gb WAN linkswithin the new offsite facility, following a migration of the SAN.


We contributed to a cloud-based solution by Getronics, Azure and another by AWS, supporting up to 50,000 users for two organisations. We also reviewed and assessedAmazon Web Services for two organisations, including technical plan and design. During this time, we were also responsible for new datacentre fit out, LAN and WAN, MPLS/IP implementation and IL3 compliant service desk design, implementation and integration for the Metropolitan Police as part of the Olympics event requirement.
Bet 365

Cloudnet were responsible for setting up the PMO and risk management function and implementation of global e-commerce re-platforming, application migration, decommissioning, and virtualisation. The new platform included a cloud-based computing model, providing SAAS and PAAS and the mobile “light”.

We also migrated critical services, including the contact centre, sports betting, mobile and ERP applications.


We led teams of technical and non-technical staff, project managers, project support, developers, and multiple 3rd party suppliers, for this global e-commerce re-platforming and application migration programme. During this time, Cloudnet were responsible for design, implementation and transition management, as well as network operations, servers and data centre build, fit out, consolidation, decommissioning and migration across three data centres in the US and one in the UK.

We oversaw network implementations, migrations and upgrades, the implementation of Cisco /WAN/LAN environments, providing backbone MPLS, and thedeployment and testing of WAN links lines from Orange; together with WiFi configuration.
